As an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), have over thirty-five years of meritorious service across departments of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (erstwhile Central Board of Excise & Customs), such as the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, the Marine and Preventive Wing, the Central Excise department, and Customs Mumbai.

In addition to Tax collection and dealing in Finance & its legal implications my duties also involved, detection of economic offenses and have been responsible for detection of various cases of Tax evasion as well as seizure of smuggled contraband goods like Gold, Silver, Foreign Currency, Narcotic Drugs, & Psychotropic Substances, etc.
